Making an Irish dance dress a week is hard. Especially when my much needed partner in crime is plagued by the, er, plague. Someday I will reply to all of the delightful messages people have left, but for now, I'm just relieved to note that I'm still alive, and will soon have more sparkley knotwork laden pretties for the gallery!

In the next few months I hope I'll be adding more pretty girls in corsets, I have a small waiting list, now I just need to find time to make the corsets...

Soon after that! (or so we hope!) Dragon Con costumes! Hopefully Bastilla Shan will FINALLY be done (I swear, that costume hates me), and there may be a set of Final Fantasy...12? costumes. I think its 12. I don't play the games, I just play dressup. Hopefully an awesome belly dancer costume (just because, I can't really dance... ~amused look~) and a kickass steampunk outfit (provided I can get someone else to design it for me. And help with all of the stupid crafty bits that I don't want to do). And... I think I'm going to be helping make (but definitely not wear. ) some skanky Star Trek girls (awesome!), and who knows what else will come up. I love con season. Is it sad that Dragon Con is one of the reasons I love living near Atlanta so much? I think it might be. But thats ok. Right?

And sometime in the next year (hopefully this fall) I'll be making/tailoring a fantastic 19th century (ish, I suspect period correct is going to be a lower priority than pretty - alas!) mens frock coat. I am very excited! I love tailoring (what very little I've done) and look forward to hours of tedious pad stitching, millions of pieces of this and that, and tons of hand basting. The future owner is going to look awesome in it, he wears clothes so well. People who wear clothes well are such a pleasure to sew for.

So much for a short note.

I'm so busy, and yet so bored. It's completely ridiculous.
